Auditions
Mirror Stage Company participates in the semi-annual general auditions organized by Theatre Puget Sound (TPS). These auditions are an important opportunity for MSC to see and stay current with the work of local actors.
The dates for TPS auditions and procedures to apply are announced at least one month in advance in local newspapers such as The Seattle Times and P-I, Seattle Weekly and The Stranger; on the Equity Hotline; and on the TPS Web Page.
Production Casting
The Mirror Stage artistic staff, in consultation with directors, invites individual actors to read for roles in specific productions. These auditions are held throughout the year on an invitation-only basis.
Actors invited to audition will be provided with sides. Production scripts may be checked out on a short-term basis from Mirror Stage. For the audition, please provide an 8"x10" photo and a current résumé. (Even if Mirror Stage has your résumé on file, it is helpful for us to have an additional copy for the director of the production.)
Casting Files
Mirror Stage maintains files on Seattle-area actors. We keep a file of the photos and résumés of actors who have worked at and/or auditioned for the theatre in the past two years. It is important that we have current information. Any time you change your telephone number or union status, please notify us by postcard. Please include your name, address and telephone number, and mail to:

Members of the Mirror Stage staff try to see as many of the vast number and wide variety of theatre performances in Seattle as possible. If you are cast in a production in the Seattle area, please send us an invitation. If possible, one of the artistic staff members will attend. We regret that it is impossible for us to see everything.
